About the Author David Rainoshek
A life of effort to exemplify the true sense of these words in the tradition of Walt Whitman, Edward Abbey, Joseph Campbell… David Rainoshek M.A. is an Integral philosopher in the tradition of Ken Wilber.
He is the co-creator of the 92-Day Juice Feasting Program at JuiceFeasting.com with his wife, Katrina, and coaches 92-Day Juice Feasts for clients worldwide, and teaches about Juice Feasting and evolutionary transformative nutrition.
David is a coach, researcher, author, and lecturer. In 2006-2008 he served as Research Assistant to Dr. Gabriel Cousens MD for the book There is a Cure for Diabetes. As leading Research Assistant, David served as head juice fasting coach, and taught the 10-week nutrition education classes to kitchen and garden apprentices at the Tree of Life Rejuvenation Center in Patagonia, Arizona in 2006-07. Over his career, Rainoshek has taught hundreds of thousands through personal coaching, books, articles, lectures, interviews, online research programs, and webinars.
David Rainoshek is also the author of The B-12 Exposed Course; We are All Fukushima: An Integral Perspective on the Meanings and Promises of Disaster; and HyperLearning: A Revolutionary Approach to Learning in the Integral Age.

In the past three years, David has been applying the Integral approach of world-renown philosopher Ken Wilber to nutrition in his upcoming book, The Spectrum of Diet: Integral Evolutionary Nutrition. The Spectrum of Diet advocates a developmental model of nutritional and health evolution, with an Integrated dietetic incorporating truths from all nutritional perspectives and practices.
The next stages of work for David are higher levels of Integrally-informed collaboration on projects that meet the unique and nuanced needs of our postmodern world.
Earlier Life Background
I was raised in Houston, Texas by two passionate, artistically-inclined parents – my father, an architect, and my mother, an avid reader. Every chance we got we traveled, mainly to the American Southwest to run rivers, hike, go very far off road, visit national parks, forests, monuments. I was raised to be a lover of the outdoors, a free-thinker, a leader, an American in the best sense of the word.
That being said, conventionality was still largely present: I was raised in the Christian church, was an Eagle Scout, and did many typical big-city southern things such as tennis, swimming, and cheerleading.
My college/university years were invested in new discovery – I gravitated to psychology, sociology, anthropology, philosophy, spirituality and mysticism. My declared, self-created major was “Intentional Communities: Spiritual, Educational, and Agrarian.”
Major milestones in my post-graduate life: living in Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh’s community Plum Village in France for a year, considering life as a monk (1998-99); walking the 2,200 mile Appalachian Trail from Georgia to Maine (1999); three-years of intense, debilitating illness followed by a miraculous recovery aided largely by the application of a Raw/Live Vegan diet for several years (2000 – 2003); an M.A. in Live Food Nutrition (2006) with Dr. Gabriel Cousens, M.D., and teaching courses, leading fasts, and co-authoring a book with Dr. Cousens (There is a Cure for Diabetes); finding my soulmate, Katrina (2007) ; the homebirth of our daughter Sophia (2009) and the homebirth of our son Alexander (2012); living in Vilcabamba, Ecuador (2011-2012).
Meeting me now, you find a passionate learner and a mystic, and professionally, a writer, researcher, life-coach, and creative director of numerous projects (many seen on RevolutionaryWebinars.com). I relish eating fresh, local, deep food, and enjoy medicinal mushrooms, chlorella, meat and seafood, leafy greens, blackberry wine, and port. I would rather have more time than money (although both are very acceptable.) I value (crave) good conversation. To the extent I can, I avail myself of opportunities to keep learning and practicing the art of living deeply, of evolutionary development.
